FSSAI Registration License

Food is an important area for our economy since it is a necessity for survival. Everyone need it. It is a well-known fact that increased demand for a product creates new business prospects. As a result, numerous petty food makers such as Hawkers, a transitory stallholder or itinerant vendor, or a tiny FBO operating within the state and with an annual turnover of less than 12lacs. Before they begin operations, all of these enterprises must get FSSAI 註冊許可證. Food registration is required for these petty food makers and tiny FBOs in order to control food product quality and ensure that FBOs may deliver nutritious, wholesome, and sanitary food to everybody.

The Food registration is an FBO’s fundamental registration with the FSSAI. It is obligatory for tiny food producers or FBOs with a revenue of less than Rs 12 lakhs, unless the FBO is covered by necessary state or government licensing.

Food registration, if approved, is valid for the period specified at the time of application. The FBO may select a validity term ranging from one to five years. The Registering Authority should issue the FSSAI Registration Certificate and a picture identity card upon successful approval of food registration. These must be placed in a prominent location accessible to all visitors to the truck, cart, or premises, or any other location where the individual engages in the sale/manufacture of food in the Petty Food Business. Once an FBO has received a registration certificate from the FSSAI, it can begin operations in accordance with the criteria outlined in the registration certificate. Every FBO that has a registration certificate is required to observe general hygienic and sanitary norms.
