印度 ESI 註冊
Employee’s State Insurance (ESI) is a self-funded social security and health insurance program for Indian workers. It provides employees and their dependents with economic and medical security. Aside from providing medical benefits to employees and their family, it also protects employees against temporary or permanent disability and disease.
印度 ESI 註冊 is required for employers with ten or more workers, as well as for all employees earning Rs.21,000 or less per month in pay. This mandatory insurance also assists companies in covering their contingent obligation for treatment and medical expenditures that may be incurred if an accident occurs on the business premises or in the factory.
Note: Any employee whose earnings (excluding overtime pay) exceed Rs. 21,000 at any point after (but not before) the start of the contribution period, i.e. (April 1 to September 30 and October 1 to March 31), will continue to be an employee until the conclusion of that contribution period. However, their name should be removed from the ESI employee list for the following contribution month (being salary exceeding Rs. 21,000)
